Wood Auction: May is our quarterly wood auction month so make sure you bring in your extra wood to help support the club.
This was my first pepper mill that went to my parents. The cove on the bottom was a "design enhancement" where a nasty catch gave me the opportunity to "fix it."

bowl turning blanks

My father and I are turners over here in Live Oak, FL. We come across a lot of domestic woods from tree service businesses in our area. (cherry, sweet gum, maple, magnolia, cedar.....) No trees are cut for the purpose of bowl blanks. The trees that are cut would otherwise be burned or buried.
