Clyde, The blank was about 12" long 5"-6" wide and about 4 1/2" deep. I will post a blog with instructions for what I did. Walter

Thanks for the info. Sounds like you started with a large piece of stock. What was the wood? And i would be interested in the profile you ended up with.

Hi Clyde,
The wood was osage orange I will see if I can get a couple more photos of it posted. It is still not finished.
