Club News ********* ATTENTION!!!! PLEASE NOTE NEW MEETING START TIME ********* Our club members have voted that we change our meeting to start at 6:30 pm. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR LIBRARY!! Contact the club librarian (Mike Webb) if you wish to check out any videos or DVD’s. There is a $2.00 check out fee. Also, if you have any suggestions of videos to be added to the club’s library, send the detailed information to Mike at mikey6429@yahoo.com. SUNCOAST CLUB MEMBERSHIP DUES We would like to remind all club members that the deadline for receiving dues is the February meeting. Please note that any members who have not paid your membership dues will have their names removed from the roster and no longer be included in the newsletter notifications. There is no change to the pricing from last year… $20.00 for individual; $25.00 for family; free to students. NEW CLUB SHIRTS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE! Ron gave us wonderful news that we are “back in business” regarding the availability of club shirts. Most of you may recall that we lost the embroidery person who was placing our club logo on a variety of shirt styles. Ron was able to find a new company to take on the task and a sampling of shirts (with a new and improved logo) will be on hand at the February meeting for viewing along with pricing. AAW MEMBERSHIP We would like to recommend that members join the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) for the benefits of their insurance, quarterly magazine, member’s directory and symposiums. Once you have joined the AAW, you will also be able to do demonstrations for our club. Ron Eddinger has applications for anyone who would like to join the AAW or you can access the AAW website at www.woodturner.org.
